Where I've worked

Founding engineer on a team that never passed seven. In five months I shipped Rust, TypeScript, and Python into the monorepo: the MCP server and OAuth stack that let AI agents use the product, the observability pipeline, an AI code reviewer, the CI. The work I'm proudest of is the least visible. Distributed-systems bugs, mostly. A pair of stacked races in a Rust filesystem that made freshly written files vanish for a few hundred milliseconds.

Not everything moved forward. I once spent two weeks wiring up Bazel, then removed it myself when a simpler build won. Reversing your own decision quickly is most of the job.

Founding engineer, CTO in practice. I took a codebase an offshore agency had left in pieces and rebuilt it into a working platform: the web app, the iOS backend, and a Chrome extension that fills job applications across six applicant-tracking systems. Small company, whole job. I also ran the customer calls and the design sessions.

Twenty-five people, and I was the entire solutions, ops, and sales function. I designed custom deployments on client sites, built the financial projections and the pipeline, and more than once fixed the hardware myself before a demo. It's where I learned to sell what I build, to people who don't care how it's built.

Forward-deployed before that was a title. I implemented ML on real customer data for Fortune 500 clients, and once LLMs arrived, RAG and document-analysis systems too. For several of them it was the first LLM project anyone had shipped in the building. Around ten engagements across NLP, vision, and forecasting, and about $10M in projected annual savings summed across them.

At 14 I shipped a Roblox game that grew to two million plays, and I ran it for five years. A few hundred strangers taught me pricing, feature triage, and community management before I could drive. In high school I consulted for a barbershop and a food company. Which sounds like a joke until you notice it's the same job I do now: look at how a business runs, find the broken thing, convince the owner, build the fix.

At Georgia Tech I founded the baseball team's analytics group and took my first startup job at 19, turning motion-capture data into pitching metrics.
